BEKO MASTERPLAN BY ZHA AT BDW

Belgrade will become the first city in the South East European region to have a building designed by the arguably world’s most successful architecture studio at the moment – Zaha Hadid Architects from London, UK. The new contemporary development at the location of the former Beko textile factory will mark the continuance of Belgrade’s signature “Modernist” movement, which was abruptly discontinued in the 1980s. Thanks to the development’s private investor, LAMDA from Greece, this complex will set new benchmarks for Serbian living & working standards, but also in the fields of innovative technologies and construction.

OUR BLOG

Beograd is a regional centre and BDW is really professional and sympathy all over to me. Major compliments to all, you're doing a great pioneering job. Such a pity that local business and government still don't grasp the real importance and potential of it. If countries like UK, DK, NL support it, this is because it is quality; Serbia should support it because it is important and (more) Serbian companies should participate to reap the benefits in cooperation with Serbian designers. So what is smart in this consequence? Insert the BDW logo with the year 2011.
