49. Aleksandar Škorić, FRANCUSKI KULTURNI CENTAR Knez Mihailova 31

I`m a Sarajevo born Canadian, fine artist, graphic designer, t-shirt and textile
designer with a love for nature and wildlife. Lot of my work is derived from my childhood
memories, my travels and observations of people and situations I find myself in.
I lived in Canada from 1995 to 2004 where I graduated with a BA Hons in Fine art from
the Alberta College of Art & Design in May 2001. In Canada I explored a number
of mediums and worked on a large number of commissioned projects. In 2004 I moved to Tokyo
where I started my own design studio and worked on everything from brand identity,
to apparel products. Tokyo offered great urban inspiration and gave me a tremendous inspiration.
Aside from commissioned work I have my own line of hand painted t-shirts and jewelry
sold in a number of shops in Japan. In 2009 I had a privilege to had paint 2 T-shirts for the
Academy nominated Actress Kikuchi Rinko who stared in the movie Babel.
Also this year Japanese actor Takashi Yamanaka wore one of my hand painted T-shirts
for the premiere of his movie  Sketches of Kaitan-City.

What a fantastic feast this Belgrade Design Week was! Inspiring, exciting and full of intensive dialogue. More than any other conferences BDW was showing, why we are all Designers – because it's about the vibe, the passion, the people and the culture of exchange. Belgrade! We'll come back!”
