Robert Matić




Robert Matić is an architect and project manager with significant international experience. His portfolio was enriched through work in advertising and creative consulting during his sojourn in Canada and USA.

He is a partner and senior consultant at RE:DESIGN creative studio whose main areas cover architecture and design sans frontiers. The motivating idea is a constant transformation of Belgrade through interdisciplinary approach to projects which aim to Re:define Belgrade as a contemporary urban space. His professional knowledge and experience are used to reposition Belgrade as a regional design centre by applying creative talent to Re:define the identity of all purpose designation “Made in Serbia” .

An awareness of the role of design in society compounded by his belief that such an approach is necessary and possible at the local level joined him through MIKSER creative network to projects which helped return Belgrade to the list of global design hotspots (Karim Rashid in Belgrade-I want to change the world; Wallpaper debrief-Belgrade Story).

He contributes articles to Genius DOMUS, FORUM, VREME, EKONOMIST and YELLOW CAB magazines. He is currently resident in Washington D.C.
