Sacha Lakic was Born in Belgrade. He began his apprenticeship at Peugeot’s interior design department in 1985. As head of their vehicles department he designed the Kawasaki Atlantis, the Yamaha Axis (1986) and the Suzuki Squale (1987).
His first piece of furniture, the “Onda” bed, was made in 1996 for the French manufacturer Roche Bobois. It was awarded the “Casaidea” prize in Rome when it appeared. In 2002 he made his first appearance on the car scene with the Venturi Fetish. His Speed Up collection for Roche Bobois was introduced in June 2005.
