Peter Saville He became well known as an Art Director and founder of the Factory Records, legendary independent record label. He created the iconography of bands such as Joy Division, New Order and Pulp. Saville gained a vast work experience in fashion industry while working for Jill Sander, Yohji Yamamoto, Dior, Stella McCartney. He worked as a consultant to Gucci and Selfridges on branding and identity issues. In March 2004, he became Creative Director of the city of Manchester.
