LOWE IDOLS&FRIENDS/ Olja Bećković The agency was founded in 1990 by Branimir Dimitrijević - otherwise known as Tucko - Srđan Šaper and Nebojša Krstić, friends and all members of the band Idoli. In only five years, its fresh approach and creative energy led to its joining Amirati Puris Lintas in 1995. After APL’s merger with Lowe Partners in 1999, Idols&Friends became part of the Lowe international network. As a full service agency for southeast Europe, Lowe Idols&Friends has a staff of twenty in Belgrade and six at its Sarajevo branch. Heading the agency is Branimir Dimitrijević (Tucko) - film and TV director, author of numerous projects and short films, over 300 commercials and music video clips and the man behind the concept of the original Idoli band. This is where the agency’s name comes from and says a lot about it. The Idols stand for those who created the idea of a marketing agency and carried it out in the then Yugoslavia. Other Idols have in the meantime found their place in the world of advertising. The Friends are there because they are, as they say, friends in the first place and colleagues in the second. Together they work on various creative and fun projects for many international and local clients: Unilever, Johnson&Johnson, Elektrolux, Coca-Cola, Henkel, Telekom, Bramac, Cip... Their longstanding international experience has made Lowe Idols&Friends a recognized name in the world of marketing, and they have won numerous prizes for their creative and imaginative ideas. Olja Bećković is the creative director of Lowe Idols&Friends. After a career as a theatre and film actress, Olja became one of television’s most exciting journalists and her contact programme Utisak Nedelje for years heads the list of most popular TV shows. www.idolsnfriends.co.yu |
