Miloš Milovanović The Belgrade Project gathers students from various Belgrade University faculties for joint displays of graduation collections, on themes relating to the city of Belgrade, the vision of its development, and the resolution of its existing problems. In the two years since its formation, Project Belgrade has broached a series of issues and provided suggestions for the development of the city, through almost a hundred students’ works from various faculties and universities. These works are grouped under ten intriguing and interesting topics, which have been defined with the support of the City government and Belgrade institutions and universities. Issues that have been researched are: the renovation of the city center; revitalization of apartment buildings; traffic and business infrastructure; possibilities for the development of culture; tourism; and ecological issues. Project Belgrade will, in the next stage, concentrate on communication with foreign colleagues and universities, so as to place its work and research in a broader context; and on developments which are of current interest abroad, thus establishing our abilities to communicate and cooperate with others. We wish to present our work to each other, to try and work together, exchange our experiences, broaden our ideas and visions, and contribute to their realization.
