Irena Posin has been heading the Export Promotion Department of Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) since its very beginning, January 2002. She graduated from the Faculty of Law of Belgrade University in 1994 – major Commercial Law. She has received her Master of European Law in 1996 from Stockholm University (Faculty of Law), Sweden. Her further training includes EU Law and Human rights (European University Institute, Florence, Italy), as well as a number of specialized courses in export development and export promotion in Sweden, Spain, Denmark, Japan. Since 2002, Ms. Posin has played an essential role in export development in Serbia. She has been involved in the development and creation of many key export development projects, a number of which were especially designed to increase the quality of production and products of the Serbian food industry. With working experience in trade and trade promotion, Ms. Posin is constantly involved in export training programmes for exporters. Constantly writing, Ms. Posin has published articles in a number of economic magazines, as well as books and booklets on export promotion. She is fluent in English, as well as possessing a moderate knowledge of French, Persian and Swedish.
