Fridrih fon Borajs (Friedrich von Borries)


Friedrich von Borries, born 1974, studied architecture at the University of the Arts Berlin, the ISA pc. Luc Bruxelles and at the University of Karlsruhe (TH), where it attained a doctorate in 2004. From 2001 to 2003 he taught urban planning and architectural designing at the Technical University of Berlin. From 2002 till 2005 he was a lecturer and a researcher at the Dessau Foundation. Since 2005 he has been lecturing history of city planning at the Nierenberg Academy of Art.

He published the book ‘’Who is afraid of Niketown?’’ in 2005.
With Matthias Boettger he co-heads raumtaktik (‘spacial tactics’), a Berlin agency for spatial interventions.
