Sawaya and Moroni emerged on the design scene in 1984. In a relatively short time, combining Sawaya's design talents and Moroni's business savvy, the company forged its reputation as a high-end producer of luxurious, limited edition furniture designs. Although the company is known more for its collaborations with world-famous architects and designers like Zaha Hadid, Jean Nouvel, Maximilliano Fuksas, Michael Graves and Jacob Macfarlane, some of the best designs were created by William Sawaya.

A World Without Words is a collection of images he compiled from his collection of second-hand books and postcards.From one of Buckminster Fuller's Dymaxion houses and Gerald Summers' one-piece plywood chair to a fisherman's hut on Hastings Beach, each image illustrates the wit and elegance with which Morrison has revitalized rationalist design.
